In this class we’ll go aboard a vessel with a Coast Guard licensed captain for the weekend, employing principles from Navigation 1. In addition, we’ll bring GPs technology aboard and learn to interpret that data. Way points, VHF, bearings and fixes are just some of the topics we’ll cover. Weather will dictate where we go, but everyone will learn enough to confidently navigate their own vessel throughout Puget Sound.
