Advanced Sailing

Using skills learned in adult basic sailing, we take things to the next level. We’ll learn different sail options including genoas and spinnakers. We cover in more detail the shapes of the sails and aspects of rig tuning. we’ll practice sailing single-handed and learn the principles of racing. Wind permitting, we’ll spend most of our time on Puget Sound. For those interested we’ll participate in a local race following completion of the class.
