Introduction to Boat Systems

Modern boats have a myriad of complicated systems, all of which require a basic understanding and a plan for routine maintenance. In this class students will learn the fundamentals of AC and DC electrical systems, engines an transmissions, marine sanitation and plumbing. Discussions will include 12 Volt DC systems including batteries, alternators and charging systems. This is a great primer for all boaters preparing to maintain or upgrade their vessel.
